Job Description

A big name within the private Insurance industry looking for a Finance Analyst to join the Finance team on a permanent basis. This will be a Hybrid role; part remote, part based out of their Central London office.A UK wide, household name within the Insurance industry are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join a growing and transitioning team. Perfect for an AAT qualified candidate, with experience in a Finance Function looking for their next step within FinancialAnalysis.Key Duties include

  • Ensuring companys financial systems are maintained to a high standard
  • Assist with the preparation of accounting statements and produce financial analysis
  • Ensure payments are authorised in line with company procedures
  • Assist with monitoring cashflow to ensure there are sufficient funds in each bank account
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Deal with company expenses claims
  • Extracting data from the system to support the preparation of supplier payment runs.
  • Document processes for all data analysis tasks
  • Provide weekly Cash flow information
  • Identify root causes of issues and provide solutions
  • Working together with Senior Management team during discussions
  • Understanding the strategic goals and direction of the business and being able to apply these your day to day duties.
