Job Description

Finance Analyst required on a permanent basis for a well-established and successful, multi-site property management company based in Central London (hybrid working) but with operations nationally.Our client is a well-renowned, property management company with plans to embark on a number of pioneering projects to generate new revenue streams. As Finance Analyst you will be responsible for processing below EBITDA transactions and reconciling accountsthat are mainly utilised for Corporate Reporting, including Dilapidations, Intercompany, Finance interests, etc.Key duties:

  • Preparing and posting month-end transactions relating to below EBITDA.
  • Assessment of Dilapidation provisions for the Group, ensure schedules are kept up to date and balances reconciled.
  • Accurately identifying and recording dilapidation spend, notional interest, provisions and amortisation within Oracle.
  • Preparing Reconciliation of Corporate Accounting Related accounts (Dilapidations Provisions, Reserves & Inter-company).
  • Maintaining Group borrowing facilities, including the finance leases (FES) and ensuring all schedules accurately updated.
  • Reconciling Inter-company accounts within the group and maintaining all related schedules.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Business Partnering with non-finance managers to review monthly spend and to develop processes and the understanding of financial requirements.
  • Assisting in preparation of quarterly consolidation package to a strict deadline by providing all supporting schedules and explanations required.
  • Assisting in preparation of Annual Budget for Dilapidations workschemes, along with items relating to below EBITDA (Notional & Finance Interest).
  • Provide support during audit work and ensuring all queries from audit team are dealt satisfactorily.
The ideal candidate will be studying towards ACCA / CIMA qualification, with a strong academic background. Applicants should possess good technical accounting skills i.e. able to complete reconciliations and double-entry accounting. Strong data manipulationand IT skills are also essential (e.g. Advanced Excel, knowledge of OLAP tools, understanding of databases & SQL).
