Finance Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

Preparation of Month End P&L
Accruals & prepayment Journals
Ensuring all costs (salaries, contractors, vendor costs inc. cloud costs & other expenses) are correctly coded and recognised
Investigation and communication of variances
Updating rolling forecast with known changes
Management and review of balance sheet
Ownership of intercompany recharge process
Involvement in the Tech spend approval process in line with governance, and raising POs as required
Working with Investment Finance Controller to ensure BAU costs coming out of investment projects are recognised correctly in the P&L
Supporting Finance Business Partner in preparing rolling forecasts, budgets and long range planning cycles as required
Involvement in the introduction of new systems and accounting transformation including supporting the Tech team with new process
Constantly look for opportunities to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies

Comfortable working in a rapidly changing and transforming business and delivering to regularly changing priorities
Experience partnering with business leads and communicating financial data to non-financial stakeholders

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel
Highly conversant with transactional accounting & budgeting systems
