Job Description

Are you looking to develop a career in FinanceWe are one of the world’s largest Market Research Agencies and we are recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Executive to join our Finance Team.The roleYou’ll be part of the central finance team, reporting to the Credit Manager, working closely with another Accounts Receivable Executive alongside two Credit Managers, producing invoices for all UK service lines and providing support to the Credit Managers. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring all accounts receivable invoices are issued with accurate information to facilitate the recovery of cash for all UK based companies in Ipsos MORI.You must be an excellent communicator, and keen to learn and develop in all aspects of Finance. This is the perfect opportunity to kick-start your career in Finance in a supportive environment.What will I be doing

  • Raising invoices
  • Ensuring all invoices requested are raised promptly and accurately
  • Ensuring the generic email invoice inbox is constantly monitored, actioned and cleared of all requests by the end of the day
  • Providing general assistance to the Credit Manager and Credit Controllers with invoice and ad hoc duties
  • Ensuring client statements are sent out on a monthly basis and within the specified time limit
  • Resolving all invoice related queries that arise and assist the Credit Manager and Credit Controllers to resolve all and any invoice related queries
  • Supporting month end billing processes

  • Experience of billing/accounts receivable
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel (Pivot tables, V-look up) PowerPoint
  • General maths skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High level of drive and initiative around process improvement
  • High level of numeracy
  • Excellent time management skills, able to prioritise
  • Naturally curious and not afraid to ask questions
