Job Description

Bewleys Tea & Coffee UK Ltd are one ofthe leading suppliers of hot beverage solutions to the foodservice sector. Bewleys UK offers nationwide sales and service support with coffee roasting capability at our roastery in Yorkshire.We have an exciting opportunity to join theteam as a Field Service Engineer working in the London area. The Field Service Engineer is responsible for safe, installation of new equipment in customer premises along with general maintenance tasks on pre-installedequipment and routine / scheduled preventative maintenance.Benefits/Working HoursMonday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pmCompany vehicle (business and private usage), company pension scheme, discount on company products, EAP scheme, generous holiday entitelment (increasing with service)Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Installation and disconnection of coffee machines and associated equipment to specified standards.
  • Read job sheets, specification documents, site plans and attend project meetings (where relevant) and prepare all necessary equipment to complete jobs.
  • Perform routine maintenance services.
  • Liaise with customers to find out relevant information and keep them informed of job progress.
  • On job completion, test system and train customers on its functions, supplying a manual where possible.
  • Where required, solve practical problems: detect and repair system faults.
  • Manage your van stock to ensure minimum variance, complete thorough stock takes as planned.
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
  • Complete all paperwork / system records to specified standards and submit by stated deadlines.
  • Keep the office team updated of job progress and provide them with technical support when required.
  • Look after company vehicle according to specified standards.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned on an as needed basis
  • Completion of ad-hoc project work as specified by senior management team

  • They must be highly skilled technically, with proven track record of fault finding
  • Dynamic, highly motivated and pro-active individual with a passion for coffee
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in delivering excellent customer service based on customer needs
