The Institutions that are based there have been operating in the UK for decades and are part of a mission and mandate to increase knowledge and understanding of Muslim civilisations and help improve the quality of life for people around the world.We are now looking for a Facilities and Maintenance Operative to join our team at the Aga Khan Centre and support operations there.Your Rewards- Salary of circa £20,000 per annum- Benefits packageIf you are a maintenance professional with an array of skills such as plumbing, electrics, carpentry or painting and decorating, this is the ideal role in which you can consolidate your skill-set and provide a vital resource to our organisation.You will discover a enlightened place of learning and inclusion, vision and exchange where you will be able to enhance your experience levels and ensure that our environment remains a place where people can come together to better themselves.The RoleAs a Facilities and Maintenance Operative, you will be tasked with providing an efficient and effective facilities and maintenance support service to the Academic Building at the Aga Khan Centre.Specifically, you will focus on ensuring the security and general appearance of the building and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard.Observing safe working practices, you will follow instructions from a number of managers, consultants, contractors and manufacturers.
