An exciting opportunity has a risen for an experienced Marketing Executive to join a growing events team, to help produce the annual schedule of events.This role will include but not be limited to:*Researching outside marketing brief to find best channels to market*To look at new marketing channels such as Social Media*Writing copy for premail, mainmail, re-mail stages of campaigns. (DM, fax, email)*Make targeted internal data selections for premail, mainmail and remail stages of campaign utilising all data available in house *Sourcing new and relevant data where necessary*Contacting all potential marketing partners to set up contra deals - trade associations, newsletters, magazines, websites etc *Building relationships with long term media partners and enhance existing agreements *To work with sponsors in order to promote conferences wherever possible*Maintaining contact with suppliers and monitor work in progress (printers, mail house, couriers)*Managing print runs from ISDN through to delivery*Managing mailings from delivery through to land dates *Writing and send press releases for each campaign to ensure maximum PR coverage.*Send e-mail campaigns through in house email system *Send fax campaigns using external fax server*Monitor the response of marketing activity*Devise unique reference links (URLs) for each section of the campaign to track web coverage.*Provide handover to telemarketing department *Ensure relevant cross marketing is provided for each conference in your sector*Post campaign analysis to monitor success of each aspect of campaignCandidates applying for this role will come from a similar marketing position, having worked within the conference marketing sector.You will be a good negotiator, project management experience as well as experience of CRM databases, copywriting and photoshop as well as understanding data segmentation.This is a busy, deadline focused role that requires someone to be highly organised, proactive and able to multi-task.
