Job Description

Events Coordinator (Hybrid)Private EquityTo £35,000 + excellent benefitsOur client is a well-established financial membership firm with an excellent reputation for high quality and innovative events such as breakfast seminars, conferences, webinars, and Round Tables.They have an exciting opportunity for an Events Coordinator with some exposure in the events industry, looking to take on a new challenge. The role includes end-to-end event management of approximately 15 events annually and the size ofevents will vary from 20 to 400 attendees. The majority of events will take place in London with some events requiring travel within the UK. You will form part of a small and sociable team and will be given lots of exposure straight away.The events Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing, recommending, and booking venues for designated events within London and the UK
  • Liaison with the marketing team to ensure all event marketing activities are planned and carried out in advance of the event taking place and design work is booked in and created in advance
  • Liaison with venues to ensure setup, catering and AV requirements are met
  • Source, recommend and book relevant suppliers and speaker (where necessary) for designated events
  • Speaker and content support - including researching suitable speakers, issuing speaker invites, follow ups and RSVPs, researching topics and themes.
  • Collect, collate, and process delegate bookings and feedback from each event and produce debrief reports for speakers and the events team
  • Delegate management; including event bookings, pre and post event correspondence such as confirmations, questionnaires, and general enquiries.
The ideal Events Coordinator will be Graduate calibre and will have worked on an event from start to finish. You should have experience dealing with budgets and working on project plans.This is a very collaborative organisation where you will be given lots of support to succeed.This a hybrid working model with at least 2 days in the office.Salary is dependent on experience
