Part of a broader and incredibly well established group, this is fantastic company with a brilliant reputation and excellent prospects for the developmentof their team.The RoleAs Event Sales Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for recruiting luxury travel agencies across the globe to attend their busy calendar of exciting events.Responsibilities will include:-Managing existing relationships with known contacts within the luxury travel sector-Encouraging repeat attendance and confirming bookings for future events-Researching and establishing new leads for potential attendees-Converting new conversations into confirmed bookings-Networking through Linked In, industry and competitor events-Proactively leading qualifying conversations-Managing the registration process including system and data management-Acting as a key point of contact for all attendees following registration-Attending onsite to develop relationships-Working closely with internal departments-Carrying out post event analysis on event successThe CandidateWe are seeking candidates who have proven experience in converting initial conversations with both existing and new contacts into confirmed event bookings. Experience in managing relationships is key, as is the ability to develop new contacts through proactivebusiness development and networking. Candidates must have a knowledge of the travel sector; a background dealing with events within the travel industry or experience within a travel agency environment would be ideal.
