Job Description

The Event Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the creation and delivery of compelling marketing campaigns and communications initiatives across the firms rapidly expanding international business. The role combines structured event creation andmanagement, marketing campaign management and creative project direction, with a focus on the development and execution of field marketing activities that support on-the-ground sales achievement.Client DetailsFinancial services data brand in London. Operate in US, Europe and Asia also. They are looking for a mat cover events marketing manager for a 12 month FTC. They are keen for someone to start in June.Description

  • Work with our Head of Marketing to develop event strategy; including identifying key 3rd party events, working with product managers to conceptualise and schedule proprietary events and maintain pre-and post-show communication and event attendance.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts for large and small scale events.
  • Management of systems and processes to manage, measure and report on our event & marketing campaigns, including working with sales operations and client services team to manage and maintain client and prospect data
  • Development of best practice "client journey" engagement campaigns through direct and indirect channels
  • Creation of compelling sales campaign materials, through traditional and online media, in support of events and direct campaigns.
  • Management of international events, including major event logistics and communications, including (and importantly) virtual events.
  • Management of major internal events, in partnership with HR / D&I committees and other internal engagement teams
Integration of campaign achievements and notable client engagements into internal communications channels; strategy and support for broader international communications.Profile
  • B2B marketing experience, ideally in technology and/or finance sectors, but otherwise within a similar industry sector
  • Ability to organize and project manage resources and channels to optimize campaign impact, and ensure team alignment
  • A track record in creating and executing successful and measurable integrated communication and marketing programs.
  • Individual must have strong self-motivational and people skills: ability to work autonomously, develop highly-functioning working relationships, address issues independently, and be very hands-on.
  • Needs to be a very strong doer - i.e. be execution-focused and results-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the ability to deal with rapid change is essential.
  • High attention to detail, an aptitude for learning, and ability to multi-task across competing projects and deadlines.
