Role: EUC Team LeadLocation: Remote (occasional need to travel to site)Salary: Up to £58,450 + Very good pension + BenefitsThe Position:The End User Computing Team Lead will report to the Head of Infrastructure with the directive to shape and evolve the experience of client devices and solutions within the business. You will utilise your experience and knowledge to lead a technical groupto deliver on requirements. The role will oversee End User Compute (EUC) development and operations activities to facilitate the delivery of innovative solutions and act as a point of escalation for the University. This role will deputise for the Head of Infrastructureas appropriate.You will:* Take responsibility for the development and implementation of new End User Computing solutions to deliver applications in the right way, at the right time, to the right users.* Line Management of a growing team of technical specialists to include mentoring, resource prioritisation, personal development and process modernisation.* Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends and review against solutions and processes as applicable. Evangelising the business benefits of new approaches as necessary, whilst communicating the impact and implication of adoption.* Assisting in the development of the technical roadmap for End User Computing in keeping with the strategies defined by the wider University departments, the IT Services function and the EUC team as appropriate.Technical Skills:
