As a Barclays ETL Developer you will work in the Data warehouse & Trade Store function within Risk Finance & Treasury. Your area is the authoritative source of data for all the firms books and records and is responsible for delivering time critical Regulatory,Surveillance, Compliance, MIS and Operational reporting. What youll be doingDevelopingand delivering of the surveillance reports for the markets surveillance work streams using Netezza, Business Objects, Informatica, UNIX and Autosys technologiesAnalysing data and onboarding of new feeds as well as generation of data extracts for upstream Conducting performance tuning and queries analysisEnsuring the Data Quality and Completeness of the Reports sent from Equities Data Warehouse and Trade StoreSupporting any Adhoc inquiries from internal regulators and Compliance team What were lookingfor:In depth SQL Experience and query writing abilityExpertise in developing applications using BI and Data warehouse technologiesProven informatics experienceExperience in Unix, Shell Scripting & Autosys Skills that will help you in the role: Data warehouse methodologies experienceExperience using relational database systems (Oracle) - database modelling, engineering, optimizationRainStor and Cash Equities experienceIn depth analytical and problem-solving abilities, ability to multitaskand switch gears quickly Where will you be working Weve been in Scotland for 250 years, and Scotlands significance to Barclays has never been as important as it is today.
