ETL Developer - SQL /Talend - Contract - £500 per day - Central London Overview:A fantastically successful market leading FinTech organisation who work within the Insurance industry requires an experienced ETL Developer.Role: You will work closely with the Head of MI and other key stakeholders in order to provide MI insight to our clients. As part of the role the ETL Developer will be responsible for creating ETL Reports by ensuring the software is built in a consistent manner by following development procedures and by following style guides set. The role will help support deployments where necessary and build health monitors and ensure code performance meeting agreed standards. The role will contribute to the existing platform logical architecture definition. Responsibilities:• Utilising disparate data sources • Proficiency in data modelling• Develop, maintain and support ETL routines using Talend• Experience in data modelling• Creating and tuning SQL queries required for efficient data migration/extraction processes• Develop, maintain and support data marts using AWS Redshift • Participate in development in KANBAN or Agile SCRUM environmentEssential Experience:• Strong SQL and Java coding experience• Experience using Talend • Competence with testing, flowchart and data mapping tools and procedures• Strong skills in writing SQL queries• Experience working with one or more BI tools such as; YellowFin, Qlick, Tableau or Business Objects• Experience working with relational database systemsDesirable Technical Experience:• Data warehousing experience (AWS Redshift preferred)• Insurance industry experienceETL Developer - SQL /Talend - Contract - £500 per day - Central London
