Job Description

Green Façades Ltd, is an accredited main contractor, based in London, the South East and the Midlands with over a decade of experience in the construction industry. We aim is to provide cost effective, high quality external façade solutionsfor commercial construction projects, with insurance and guarantees provided. We specialise in all aspects of external façade application and offer design solutions, including CAD drawings and 3D modelling, which are backed by PI insurance.Why work for us

We are currently recruiting for a proactive Estimator, who has a strong background in Cladding industry.The duties would involve:
  • Assessment of incoming enquiries for suitability and risk.
  • Analysis of any potential technical issues including liaising with relevant consultants,architects and clients to bring to a successful conclusion.
  • Preparation and submission of sub-contract and materials enquiries and assessment of incoming quotations for suitability/ value.
  • Attend and conduct meetings with client, consultant.
  • Carry out full take off and detailed pricing.
  • Working alongside the team to close deals at the earliest.
  • Training/mentor junior estimators whenever and wherever needed.
The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may be expected to perform within the scope of their role.Experience/skills required:
  • 3 years+ experience working in an Estimator role
  • Experience of working with Estimating and Tendering tools would be preferred
  • A passion for pricing works with a keen eye for detail
  • The ability to see opportunities for improving the profitability of projects at tender stage without compromising on the quality of the finish
  • A strong work ethic, flexibility, self-motivation and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Confident and able to communicate effectively with a variety of clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and stakeholders
