Job Description

Company Overview:My Client is a leading property management company with a strong reputation for excellence in managing residential and commercial properties. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Block/Estates Manager to join our team. This role offersa unique opportunity to manage a portfolio of properties, including a prestigious block consisting of 1000 units, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents.As a Block/Estates Manager you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of a portfolio of properties, with a particular focus on a large block comprising 1000 units. You will work closely with residents, contractors, and the wider propertymanagement team to ensure the smooth operation of these properties and enhance the overall living experience for residents.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of properties, including a block with 1000 units, to ensure their efficient operation and maintenance.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing their concerns and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Oversee the budget and financial performance of the managed properties.
  • Collaborate with contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality services are delivered to the properties.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and implement necessary maintenance and repair activities.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and property management standards.
  • Prepare and present reports to clients and stakeholders as required.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve property management services.
Qualifications:
  • Chartered Surveyor qualification (IRPM) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in property management, particularly in managing large residential blocks.
  • Strong knowledge of property management laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
