ePlatform Architect (VP) - £100k - £130k + Excellent Bonus & Benefits - London - Investment BankingOverview:A leading FTSE100 Investment Banking firm are looking for a talented ePlatform Architect to join their fast paced trade floor in London.Role & Responsibilities:The successful candidate will join the E Platforms Architecture team as part of the Markets Engineering group. The team is charged with the support and development of trade execution platforms across all asset classes and support almost all of the firms tradingdesks. Physically, the team are located in the very centre of the trade floor. Support an international Credit and Rate ePlatform. Investigate and resolve complex live issues. Work hand in hand with eTraders and Infrastructure, in order to pro-actively improve the ePlatform. Work in partnership with infrastructure and front office to maintain and improve continuous integration platform. End to end integration testing. Ensure that the platform meets regulation and internal policies.Essential Skills & Experience: Development background in Java, C# or C++. Understanding of architectural design concepts. Support of a live, international front office ePlatform on Credit, Rate or FX. Support of ePlatform change (Continuous Integration, System architecture, Planning). Strong expertise in e-Platform and regulation.Desirable: Expertise on platforms such as Numreix, KDB, ION, Murex, MongoDB. Connectivity to ION, Murex, MarkitWire. Understanding of STP solutions. Understanding of rate and credit derivatives. Thorough understanding of end to end trade flow, pricing and trade booking. Understanding of network infrastructures - TCP/IP and LAN technologies. Ability to understand business problems and solve them with technical solutions.Package:£100k - £130k Basic Salary. Up to 20% bonus.
