Job Description

Environmental and Sustainability lead We have a great opportunity for an experienced Environmental and Sustainability lead to join the team, working either full or part-time. Position: VAC0082 IHQ Environmental and Sustainability lead. Location: LondonSalary: £47,452.66 pa pro rata plus travel to work allowance up to £3,600 pa Hours: Full-time or part-time, full-time is 35 hours and part-time will be minimum 3 days for 21 hours (flexible working available after probation) Contract: 3 year fixed term contractBenefits: Contributory Pension Scheme; Generous Travel to work Allowance. 25 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays per annum, Café discount. Closing Date: 5th January 2024 About the Role In brief, this role involves developing and implementing environmentalsustainability strategies, practices, and initiatives to enhance the organisations environmental and social impact. You will collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders to promote environmentally sustainable practices and drive positivechange within the organisation. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with statutory environmental reporting requirements. About You The successful candidate will have proven experience in environmental sustainability management, environmental stewardship,or related fields, ideally within the non-profit or charity sector as well as demonstrated ability to develop and implement environmentally sustainable initiatives, policies, and procedures.
