Job Description

Job Title: Environment ArtistJob ID: 81869Location: Home Based/RemoteJob Type: PermanentSalary: £35-45kCompany: An exciting opportunity has come up for an Environment Artist to help push the boundaries of interactive and immersive character-based story telling within VR, console and mobile titles.You will work remotely, alongside the rest of the team and key stakeholders on a daily basis.Experience:

  • Experienced with software such as Maya and Substance.
  • Low and high poly modelling knowledge.
  • Experience developing for multiple platforms.
  • At least one shipped title.
  • Knowledge of a range of texturing techniques including traditional diffuse and PBR production.
  • An understanding of environmental storytelling and believable world construction.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated, able to work as part of a small team as well as individually.
  • Working knowledge of Unity 3D or similar game engine.
  • Familiarity with environmental lighting techniques.
  • An interest or experience of working with VR.
    • Responsibilities:
  • To work closely with the art team and art director taking visual and technical direction.
  • Produce consistently high quality and high performing assets and worlds.
  • Work alongside design and code to develop immersive and compelling environments.
