*OUTSIDE IR35 - Our client is a Health Regulatory Body sponsored by the Department of Health & Social Care. We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join on a high profile multi-supplier, multi-year programme. The Enterprise Data Architect will join the team asap and work with the Regulator on delivering a flexible regulatory management system to support the new Operating Model. The programme will deliver a core regulatory data platform covering structured andunstructured data to enable improved data exchange and the implementation of international standards and align the client to UK health system integration standards such as FHIR. It will also put in a new technology stack for future digital products and services. The Enterprise Data Architect will provide client-side intelligence to assure the data supplier are integrating their output into an overall enterprise data model and ensuring the consistency across the logical data models. The data suppliers team of analysts are working in each of the workstreams alongside the BAs. They gather requirements for the new data model in the form of data catalogues for each of the services in each workstream. These are supplemented with Data DesignDocuments that provide business and data context and finally a logical data model. This ist then reviewed with and passed over to the design, build and test/prod supplier for physical data model build. Originally, an independent consultant was brought in tointegrate the data suppliers output into an overall enterprise data model and ensure the consistency. However, this was unsuccessful due to gaps in experience. The Data supplier is now integrating the outputs rather than an independent consultant. The need is therefore for the Data Architect to assure that output, the enterprise data model for the organisation and the conceptual data models and other business-level artefacts, ensuring decisions are communicated clearly. It requires a leader as wellas an operational architect where required. To apply for this role, you will be an experienced Data Architect with experience of assuring data architecture within large complex organisations - ideally within a regulatory or public body. You will have a strong understanding of data integration andworking with enterprise data models. Specifically, you will have experience in data design from concept through to physical including business glossaries, enterprise data models and applying these across transactional and reporting areas.
