Job Description

Enterprise Architect / Hybrid- London / 3 month contract / £600-£700 per day inside IR35One of our leading Clients in the market are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join their teamRole: Enterprise Architect Location: Hybrid - LondonDuration: 3 month contractRate: £600-£700 per day Inside IR35Role Responsibilities entail:

  • Experience in architecture, analysis & projects
  • In-depth technical knowledge of a wide range of IT systems and technologies with knowledge of the major technologies and applications used by the UK business
  • Strong leadership skills with experience of shaping, motivating and driving change
  • Experience communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Experience in vendor selection and management
  • Demonstrable expertise in problem decomposition
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • An appreciation of architecture development methodologies including TOGAF and Zachmann, and their application in the "real world"
  • Experience participating in architecture reviews
  • An understanding of the regulatory restraints
  • A deep understanding of what IT services are required to support the Client
  • Identify and recommend emerging technologies appropriate for further study and participate in any Proof of Concept projects required to thoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and strengthen arguments for or against adoption
  • Experience in system design, system integration and managing complex technology solutions involving multiple applications
  • Conversant in applicable technology including emerging trends and innovation, with a detailed understanding of how technology can support client in reaching its target operating model
  • Strong educational background, preferably to degree level
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details in non-technical terms, influence senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops and carry out presentations in a confident manner.
  • Mentoring and coaching skills to enhance the architecture capability within the team and across the function
  • Ability to understand the political sensitivities of a complex business, and how to navigate these to ensure suitable outcomes for the organisation
  • Ability to understand the big picture and short term implications of decisions, with the ability to reconcile both to organisational aims
  • Experience of working with modelling notations like BPMN, UML and object orientated databases using at least one architecture modelling tool (e.g. Archimate).
  • Proficient in the techniques that go into producing designs of complex systems, including requirements discovery and analysis, formulation of solution context, identification of solution alternatives and their assessment, technology selection, and designconfiguration
  • Desire to expand knowledge and technical understanding
