English/ Drama TeacherSouthwarkASAP StartSalary: M1 - M6 pay (£188 - £244 per day)Timeplan Education are currently supporting an alternative provision in Southwark. They support children and aged 11- 16 with an EHCP for SEMH and associated complex needs. They are currently recruiting an experienced English/Drama Teacher to work via theagency.Shortlisted candidates must have proven experience in the UK, ideally in a SEND setting. Experience with Behavioural and mental health difficulties would be advantageous; however, the school are open to meeting with strong mainstream teachers, who have aninterest in SEND.You will work across 2 sites teaching children in both KS3 and KS4. Classes generally have 6-8 pupils students of varying abilities; therefore, it is imperative you are confident planning inclusive, individualised lessons. There will also be TAs in theclass. They are looking for dynamic positive teachers. You will also be responsible for carrying out assessments and reporting progress to SLT. The post holder must have QTS or QTLS.The school is very therapeutic in its approach, working closely with therapists, families, and outside agencies to support students to overcome their mental health and behavioural difficulties, while working to gain the best academic outcome.For candidates who commit, the school can offer excellent rates of pay, as well as a friendly and stable working environment.The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
