Job Description

Engineering ManagerAbout Sprint Reply:Sprint Reply is the Reply Group company specialised in Intelligent Process Automation. Our mission is to create automation platforms capable of solving concrete business problems, supporting our customers in the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterpriseand the adoption of a scalable and efficient Digital Workforce. In Sprint Reply we combine an execution oriented engineering approach with strong experiences on 4 technology families, Robotic Process Automation, Computer Vision & ICR, AI & Machine Learningand Process Mining, dedicating constant attention to R&D on various Artificial Intelligence issues. Responsibilities:

  • Lead our engineering capability in their quest to deliver cutting edge solutions leveraging the latest AI technologies.
  • Work with clients to understand and realise business value delivered through AI led solutions, educate and implement best practice approach.
  • Implement robust and effective pipelines and solution lifecycle management.
  • Develop and grow the engineering function at Sprint and assist in the development of Sprint Reply intellectual property, by working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and using/developing appropriate frameworks.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to a diverse engineering team based in our Sheffield office.
  • Oversee quality assurance and ensure all projects are compliant with regulations.
  • Ongoing upskilling of yourself and the team to stay on top of the latest technologies and methods that can help Sprints customers build the best solutions in the market.
  • Participate in marketing activities, showcase agreed work examples at internal and external events.
About the candidate:
  • You have completed a Bachelors degree (2.1 or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a Masters degree in a similar field.
  • Previous experience within consultancy is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good understanding of the applicable technologies, challenges and policies relating to Artificial Intelligence and keen interest in this field.
  • Adaptable and accepting of new challenges.
  • Experience leading engineering teamsto deliver outcomes that exceed client expectations.
  • Working understanding of both agile and waterfall project management methodologies
  • Demonstrable ability to quickly form relationships across all levels of the business, both internally and client facing.
  • Proven track record with people management and ability to help team members develop and achieve their full potential.
  • Security Clearance will be required to undergo security clearance.
