Job Description

Engineering Lecturer/Assessor £27,051 - £36,651 per annum With the potential of a market supplement, if appropriate 37 hours per week 52 weeks per annum Abingdon Campus Permanent Do you want to work in a great place Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity Are you ready to pass on your engineering knowledge and skills to the next generation of apprentices If you answered yes we are looking for you to join our highly successful team. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer for our dynamic work-based learning provision to delivery outstanding engineering lessons, coaching and assessment to our Apprentices. Apprenticeships are to help young people to fast track their career and help them to get to the next level giving them a head start and you can be part of their journey and make a real difference. This post is to deliver, coach, and assess learners on their apprenticeship and prepare them for End Point Assessment. The post holder must hold relevant qualifications and experience to be able to deliver and assess up to and including L4 Engineering. This post will include flexible delivery models of day release lessons, assessments and some 1-2-1 support sessions both within workplaces and at our Abingdon site. You will be expected to strive to maintain good or outstanding success rates in all areas, using innovation within your teaching and assessing, utilising e-learning opportunities where appropriate. You should be a skilled communicator and have excellent organisational skills. You should be qualified to degree level or equivalent, have a recognised teaching qualification.
