Job Description

SUMMARYA leading marketing service provider are seeking a Engineer (Customer Integration).This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding global organisation that is focused on helping their employees grow alongside the company.The Engineer (Customer Integration) is responsible for supporting clients technical needs throughout their lifecycle within the companys marketing ecosystem. This can include, but is not limited to, attending technical exploration meetingswith internal stakeholders or external clients to support the best tracking strategy; providing correct website tracking codes and instructions for client implementation; performing tracking QA and troubleshooting post integration inquiries.The ideal candidate will be highly responsive, able to communicate to a technical & non-technical audience, and adept at providing custom solutions, when necessary. This is an exciting opportunity to work with global teams to solve client integration needs,either through a single channel or multiple ones. Your ongoing goal is to provide a positive customer experience within and outside of the company.Roles & Responsibilities:Were looking for a self-starter and finisher, who has a passion for creative problem-solving. Strong candidates will innately seek to learn new technologies and tools as needed & stay up to date on industry trends to improve their comprehensive knowledge andapplication of the companys Integration solutions.

  • Assist new & existing clients with the companys technical integration, including: Sharing integration instructions, confirming technical set up, tracking testing & validation and ensuring relevant consumer privacy policies are applied
  • Establish and maintain regular and appropriate communication with launch stakeholders, internal & external
  • Learn and understand the full capabilities of the companys tools and technologies
  • Set clear expectations and advocate for most effective integrated solution based on the campaign goals and available company technology & partnerships
  • Troubleshoot, escalate and respond to client tracking and reporting inquiries & requests, as appropriate
  • Manage post-launch tracking inquiries, to maintain tracking integrity and protect revenue
  • Analyse & improve the client launch process where opportunity exists or business needs change
  • Create and Maintain launch process documentation and define best practice guidelines to support the clients lifecycle and internal teams workflows
  • Identify potential new tracking solutions to be reviewed by Product Development team.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Candidate will have a minimum of 2-3+ years experience in technical support, or IT consulting role working with enterprise, web-based software solutions: specifically coding, testing/QA, and troubleshooting. Successful candidates may bring experience froman agency, client, or consulting environment.
  • Bachelors degree Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and basic concepts of affiliate, display or search marketing
  • Technical knowledge and enthusiasm for digital trends, analytics tools, best practices and data-driven solutions with the ability to learn and adapt to new concepts
  • Ability to multi-task & prioritise tasks, despite competing needs, in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Understands the impact of decisions on companys short and long-term goals
  • Excellent time management, follow-up and organisational skills. Attention to detail is priority.
  • Great relationship-building skills; Ability to liaise between internal, cross-functional global teams and external clients on a day-to-day basis
  • Exemplary verbal, written & presentation communication skills
  • Must be able to quickly develop facility with proprietary software to manage and review launch status.
Technical / functional expertise
  • Proficient knowledge in JavaScript & HTML
  • Proficient web development and cookie tracking skills
  • Proficient knowledge of advertising tag management (Google Tag Manager), tag container, CMS systems & 3rd party pixel tracking
  • Experience with Node.js, PHP, SQL, ASP etc.
  • Experience with databases, shopping carts, FTP, RSS/XML feeds
  • Knowledge in web analytics, tracking and reporting
  • Experience in mobile app tracking and Software Development Kit (SDK) implementations
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint for client-ready reports & presentations
