Main purpose of the job: Maintain the smooth running of the Council’s utility contracts.Lead the development and implementation of the Council’s procurement strategy for Meter Operator, Data Collection, Data Aggregation, Invoice Validation contracts.Delivery of professional and value for money corporate services for energy and water supplies.Ensure efficient operational systems are in place to monitor and validate energy consumption, manage billing, secure income, respond to change across the corporate estate, and manage corporate utility contracts.Manage budgets for corporate utility expenditure.Drive energy efficiency and carbon reduction through monitoring and targeting of consumption and by developing and supporting capital works to invest in the corporate estate.Provide utility services to Schools and Lewisham Homes.Ensure the Council complies with regulations.Assist internal teams on reporting on utilities and carbon and support the modernisation of the Council’s corporate estate.Support Lewisham Homes’ and Capital Programme’s development projects. Represent Lewisham Council in external organisations.
