Job Description

As an Energy & Infrastructure Debt Originator, you will be a key player in driving debt transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Your role will involve originating and sourcing opportunities, structuring deals, and executing junior debt/mezzaninedebt transactions. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the financing landscape of energy and infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients and partners in the energy and infrastructure sectors to source debt opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to structure junior debt and mezzanine debt transactions, ensuring alignment with risk and return profiles.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities in the energy and infrastructure finance space.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential transactions, assessing risks, financial viability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, and industry partners.
  • Oversee the execution of debt transactions, ensuring seamless processes and compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of debt portfolios, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in originating, sourcing, structuring, and executing junior debt/mezzanine debt transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy and infrastructure finance, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to assess complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and stakeholders.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional financial solutions.
  • Regulatory and compliance awareness related to debt transactions in the energy and infrastructure space.
