World Leading Energy Company has an exciting opportunity for a talented SME:Business Analyst / experienced ETRM Professional in the Energy Trading space in the downstream side of the business. The team comprises of business analysts, data engineers anddevelopers split between London and Bangalore delivering both custom built and vendor supplied applications to the trading business. The role may be part of an IT project development environment or an individual contributor at the business interface. The BusinessAnalyst is primarily responsible for identifying and documenting business requirements and working with technical teams to determine feasible solution options. The team are very much at a discovery phase and this is an exciting time to join, bringing new SMEs to help fast track the projects, ideally looking for Snr BAs who might also be looking to move more into the product management phase and a path finder / advisor,this is not your standard BAU work.Skills and experience: - Proficient in operational activities and business strategy. - Understands the industry and business positioning among competitors. - Identifies the main stakeholders. Gaining proficiency in stakeholder management activities.- Attends local/regional & global IT BA meetings and webcasts.- Utilizes best practices and provides feedback on existing processes. - Participates in industry IT BA related activities such as IIBA webcasts and/or chapter meetings. Requirements:-An Experienced ETRM Professional (Openlink Endur)-Understands BA kno,wledge areas and developing proficiency in the BA knowledge areas. -Understands organizational dynamics. -Good understanding of Aligne as a tool. -Good understanding of ETRM as a domain overall. -Domain Knowledge Knowledge of Energy Trading (Physical & Financial) either Gas, Power or LNG-Learner Mindset-SME in any one of the logical parts of Aligne - Front Office , Middle Office, Global Back Office OperationsThis needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellentcommunication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
