Job Description

Highly regarded multi-service firm has a brand new requirement for an Employment Partner to work as part of their London team. They have an excellent reputation for providing the highest levels of service for their clients. They are looking to take on a commercially minded Senior Solicitor to lead the development of their commercial employment service.This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a developing function within a top rated multi-service firm.Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

  • Act as main point of contact for a range of clients regarding UK employment legislation.
  • Work with other legal departments to cross-sell firm services and offer a multi-faceted approach
  • Provide advice to corporations around non-contentious employment issues
  • Work with senior executives in advising on employment matters
  • Visit client sites to provide HR advisory training regarding employment law changes
  • Manage a varied caseload covering a wide range of employment queries
  • Actively participate in business development driving new firm initiatives
  • Drive commercial strategy for the department
  • Oversee and delegate work across the wider team
    • You will have strong experience in UK employment law and a proven track record in developing commercial employment solutions for clients. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working within a city/west end law firm environment. Additional language skills and strong academic background would be advantageous. Ability to build strong client relationships is essential as you will provide a main point of contact service to a range of high profile clients. Proven business development skills are also key as you will take the lead in developing the client service strategy for the department. They are open to considering candidates at either Senior Associate or Partnership level. Required skills
