Job Description

We specialise in delivering employment, health, justice and youth services, creating new and improved ways to support everyone daily and drive social change.We currently have an opportunity available for an Employment Case Worker based in our Hackney office.As an Employment Case Worker, you will be focused on providing employment support to individuals with a range of health conditions and/or disabilities. You will encourage, support, and empower participants through their journey towards employment.Experience in Employment Services is not a must, but if youre already working in the industry, or have before, we welcome you to join the Ingeus team. We know youll get off to a flying start!We also welcome people who have worked previously as retail or store managers, travel or sales consultants, telemarketers, recruitment/HR consultants or hospitality managers - jobs that rely on great service and achieving targets. If youve done one of thesetypes of jobs before, then you may have skills that would suit and as we provide full training, well help you pivot your skills into a new career as an Employment Case Worker.Ideally, you will have experience working in a performance target driven environment, be confident delivering group-based learning interventions as well as delivering services via digital platforms.A typical week will involve actively engaging with individual participants such as:

  • Coordinating and sequencing services on behalf of individual participants
  • Working with participants to progress them into sustainable work.
  • Building strong and positive relationships with participants
  • Making the right connections with local services, through a multi-agency approach, to coordinate a focused package of support for each participant
  • Working from local hubs, and pop-up offices in your community or alongside integrated services to increase service accessibility
  • Promoting any additional options available to support participants on their return to work via a local Social Prescription Network
