I am looking for a senior employee specialist to join a growing HR function within the central governmentBe part of a supportive and adaptive teamClient Details- You will be working within a large HR team providing ER expertise across the whole department.- You will be supporting line managers alongside a variety of stakeholders as a core function of ER support.DescriptionYou will be responsible for providing responsive and compliant ER advisory services to a government body.- Have full case management and administrative support on ER issues including suspensions, investigations, disciplinary, grievance and absence.- Resolve and responding to ER related queries escalated from HR Service Team, ensuring query resolution is captured on the CSM system managing service requests in a timely manner.- Provide practical advice and guidance to line managers on how to manage ER issues in line with the department policy.- Escalate any serious or final stage ER issues to ER Specialists or ER Services Manager.- Ensure line managers are clear on how to conduct meetings, including advice on meeting preparation and how meetings should be chaired and concluded.Profile- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.- Ability to work collaboratively with the wider team to provide support when required.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear and concisely.- Understanding of customer requirements and is able to take ownership of problems or issues and recommend practical HR solutions- Prior experience working with the Government.Job Offer- Opportunity to work within a supportive and friendly environment where employees always come first.Flexible working hours to ensure a healthy work life balance.- competitive salary.- Cycle to work, child care schemes.
