Job Description

A leading IT vendor is currently looking for an EMEA Payroll Team Leader to join their team in London on a full-time, 6-month temporary contract.Working on a hybrid basis, this company looks for this team to come into the office at least 2 days per week. The salary for this role is £30 to £35 basic per hour + Holiday Pay (PAYE).As a Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing payroll for around 800 staff in the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, UAE, Ukraine and Check Republic.Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising the payroll team (2 members of staff), ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple countries
  • Overseeing UK payroll operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address payroll-related issues and implement solutions
  • Providing guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Strong experience in a leadership role within payroll operations
  • In-depth knowledge of multi-country payroll processes and regulations
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation (P45, P11, SMP, SSP, SPP) and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in Workday HRIS system and ADP Streamline software
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
