If this sounds like you, we hope this position sings to you.OverviewKMI Brands are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join our growing International Sales team with at least 2 years’ experience in account management at a similar level.You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors to increase sales and profitability.As a National account manager, you should be organized and able to analyse and present data. We also expect you to have good negotiation and presentation skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers.Ultimately, you should be able to facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.Role Accountabilities Distributor Relationships Develop & maintain strong relationships with existing distributor network through regular communication and meetings delivering compelling arguments behind proposals to ensure long-term success.In conjunction with Head of International Sales, build JBP’s with each distributor, ensure delivery against these from a sales, stock and investment perspective.Actively communicate with all distributors, developing strategies and communication plans for each territory KMI Brands currently trade in and new territories.Account ManagementProactively initiate and develop effective working relationships with key decision makers within each distributor across all commercial areas including Buying, Supply, and Marketing.Lead account strategy planning to optimise product range, in store exposure and trade marketing support delivering against annual sales and investment targets.Drive the creation of engaging, insightful retailer presentations to maximise sales opportunities and develop long-term relationships.Act as the liaison between distributor and internal brand and marketing teams to deliver marketing and NPD programmes in line with achieving growth targets, measuring effectiveness of each campaign.Maximise effective use of CRM system for lead generation, marketing activity, retailer support and latest retailer information available.Distributor Planning & New Business DevelopmentWorking alongside the Head of International Sales, develop growth targets for existing distributors, assess new business opportunities, plan and implement distributor/retailer strategies to deliver sales and profitability in line with KMI Brands 3 year financial targets.Financial Accountability Responsible for creating P&L plans to deliver against monthly/ annual sales budgets, reviewing variances and recommending alternative actions as appropriate.Lead preparation of territory Annual Sales Budgets to optimise sales and profitability.Deliver accurate sales forecasts and maximise stock availability in conjunction with Operations team.Prepare bespoke pricing for each market for all brands in the KMI brands portfolio following market evaluation to maximise KMI Brands margins and sales.Territory KnowledgeReview & identify opportunities for commercial advantage within the EMEA territory, research each market and categories to maximise insights, identify sales targets and optimise KMI knowledge bank for future growth opportunities.Grow current network of distributor & retailer partners to increase opportunities for future growth & partnerships as well as building the reputation of the KMI Brands portfolio.Regular meetings with distributors in key markets as well as in market retailer and category review to identify opportunities to grow the KMI Brands portfolio to be carried out.
