The client is looking for a temporary resource to support the existing Electronic Trading Risk Management (ETRM) team.Responsibilities for this role will concentrate (though not exclusively) on non-market risk including the Electronic Trading businesses and Transaction Reporting.Specifically:* Understanding and documenting the complex eTrading risk management environment* Representing the business at front to back Transaction Reporting project meetings with focus on Front Office transactional (trading) data capture and processing;* Undertake key process and data analysis tasks for the eTrading business and Transaction Reporting;* Project planning and co-ordination;Other duties include:* Regular interaction with Senior IED Management* Partnering with the IED business, Operations and Technology to understand and improve processesQUALIFICATIONS* Strong communication skills* Product knowledge in Equity, including Cash, Listed Derivatives, Swaps and OTC options.* Relevant prior experience in ideally both Equities trading and Transaction Reporting* Appreciation of FIX and electronic trading connectivity* Sound numerical skills, preferably a degree in a quantitative subject* Strong motivation to be a self-starter with a positive outlook and desire to solve problems* Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex workflows* Solid understanding of applicable regulatory rules and regulations* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely and effective manner and thrive in a fast-paced environment that lends itself to changing priorities and quick turnaround* Enjoying team work across different teams, functions and disciplines in a fast paced environment
