Job Description

Job Title: Electro mechanical Field Service Engineers required (White Goods / Domestic Appliance) - Trainee / Cross Training Area: West LondonPackage: up to £30,000 ,pension scheme, overtime, vehicle with private use, , ongoing training, internal progression, staff discount, 25 days annual leave + stats etc.CompanyA European manufacturer of high-end domestic appliances and commercial equipment who have been established for over 100 years. Producers of a wide range of domestic appliances including laundry appliances, vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, rotary irons, built-inconvection, steam, and speed ovens, hobs (cooker hoods, cook tops), freestanding and built-in refrigerators, freezers, and wine coolers and coffee systems. PositionWe are currently recruiting for either White Goods/Domestic Appliance Engineers or semi skilled electro mechanical engineers with experience in a professional environment to work in a field based position. You will initially be trained on the manufacturersproduct, making you an expert on all their appliances. RequirementsTo be considered for the position you must have the following:

  • A background in white goods repairs would act as a huge advantage to your application (e.g. washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, fridges, hobs, ovens, extractor fans etc) however experience in another electro-mechanical field servicerole would be considered (e.g. coffee, vending, catering ,telecoms , print , copiers etc ).
  • Ideally have electrical qualifications (City & Guilds 224 Consumer Electrical and Electronic Servicing, City & Guilds 2365 Electrical Installation, 17th Edition etc)
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent customer service skills - able to handle a variety of customers.
  • Gas qualifications i.e. CCN1 and CKR1 would act as an advantage but are not essential.
  • 2ndline refrigeration/F-Gas would also act as an advantage to your application.
