Job Description

Electrical EngineerThe ideal candidate:The Following Day to day tasks you could encounter:

  • Fault finding on LV panels
  • Ensure all boiler reports are completed every shift, any anomalies raised to management.
  • Attend BOAS training for boiler system.
  • Testing of electrical circuits in conjunction with current legislation
  • Assist other staff with prove dead testing and LOTO procedures
  • Ensuring that all plant, equipment, office and operational areas are kept in a clean, tidy and serviceable state
  • Help to keep the breakout facilities clean and tidy
  • Carry out basic PPMs on all M&E tasks
  • Carry out remedial tasks for all M&E remedial
  • Respond to Building Management System alarms (BMS), and effect emergency repairs as needed.
  • Provide concise reports to line management and Service Desk where necessary
  • Write concise handover notes at the end of each shift, including incident reports where necessary.
  • Carry out PPMs on FCUs and AHUs
  • Ensure regular communication with service coordinators, supervisors, contract managers and where necessary client representatives at all times.
  • Carry out minor plumbing repairs
  • Carry out minor mechanical repairs
  • Adhere to and comply with procedures, policies and standards at all times.
  • Work on the sprinkler system
  • Work on the fire alarm system
  • Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
  • Ensure all work undertaken is in accordance with risk assessments, and method statements
  • Where necessary write dynamic risk assessments
  • Perform lift entertainment duties once trained
  • Carry out emergency light checks and remedial and fill in relevant paperwork.
  • Operate BMS system
  • Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
  • Completion of company documentation in its entirety and in a timely manner
  • Maintain the professional representation of the companys technical and ethical standards
  • Work in a safe manner with due regard to the environment and the safety of others
  • Comply with legislative requirements
  • Operate PDA in conjunction with latest training and instructions
  • In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder is required to carry out such other duties as may be required and as may be assigned by the management from time to time.
