Job Description

Electrical Design EngineerLondon£35,000 - £45,000 Per AnnumElectrical Design Engineer Duties:

  • Design and calculation of electrical services in new build or refurbished buildings
  • Working as part of the design team to meet set design dates
  • Working with the project team and project managers
  • Attending design meetings and project meetings
  • Reporting to the design manager and attending weekly progress meetings
  • Preparation of working drawings for site staff
  • Attending sites to run through design drawings and working drawings to site teams
    • Electrical Design Engineer Experience:Essential requirements:
  • Level 3 / NVQ3 Apprenticeship served Electrician (or eqv. qualification & experience)
  • 18th Edition (C&G 2382)
  • Amtech (or similar) cable calculation software experience / training
  • AutoCAD (or similar) experience / training
  • Preferred requirements:
  • Electrical Testing & Inspection (2391, 2395, or eqv.)
  • Design & verification of electrical installations (C&G 2400 / 2396, or eqv.)
  • Relux, Dialux, Revit Experience
    • Electrical Design Engineer Hours:
  • Mon to Fri, 8.00am-5.30pm
    • Electrical Design Engineer Location:The successful candidate can be based either in West Sussex or Central London.£35K to £45K depending upon relevant experience and training. 22 days holiday plus Pension and BUPA Healthcare.
