Education ManagerLeading Global Professional Membership Body Hybrid/Remote with UK TravelBasic Salary £35,000-£40,000 dependant on experience plus excellent benefitsPermanent, Full Time, with fantastic benefits. An excellent opportunity for an Education Manager to join one of the leading global professional membership bodies in the science, engineering, and technology sectors.Objective The Education Manager focusses on the development of our current and future membership pipeline. The Education Manager reports directly to the Director of Membership & Professional Standards working closely with the wider Membership Team. With a varietyof routes to membership, the option of professional registration and progressive qualification and the diverse disciplines that exist in materials science and engineering, every candidate and their route to membership is unique.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping the current and future membership pipelineSupporting university and employer leadsSupporting affiliated local societies and the conference team with membership outreach activitySelling the benefits of membership to new members, including progressive qualification and professional registrationAdvising individual candidates on routes to membership through face to face and online clinicsMaintaining and delivering workshop content for candidates preparing to sit professional reviewDeveloping the mentor communityProviding support to boards and committees including secretariat duties for the student and early career committeePromoting member activity and encouraging wider volunteer engagementSupporting the accreditation of University courses and company training schemesPerson specificationQualifications and experienceEssential Bachelors or Masters degree in science or engineeringKnowledge of the education systemAbility to work flexibly to accommodate evening meetingsAbility to travel across the country either by public transport or own vehicleEvidence of technical and people skills gained in industry or educationExcellent communication and project management skillsDesirable Chartered Engineer status (or working towards this)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsAdministration and IT skills including setting up and hosting online contentGood organisation and time management skillsPeople focussed, with an ability to communicate internally and externally through a variety of meansTeam playerAbility to work flexibly to accommodate evening meetingsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlinesKnowledge of the education systemCommercial awarenessTo apply to this role please send your CV.Due to the volume of applications, we are only able to contact successful applicants.
