This is a role that would suit an ex-trader or an economist or analyst with a good understanding of markets and the economies in Latin America. In this role you will be producing real-time analysis of macroeconomic events across the region, including centralbank, credit market and broader economic indicators, contributing commentary to regular intraday reports. So, having a good insight into areas like the economic outlook for individual countries in this region, or central bank decisions is key. This is a rolethat is more focused on quick turn-around analysis, rather than lengthy in-depth reports produced over a period of time. It’s not essential to speak Spanish or Portuguese, a solid understanding of financial markets and their drivers is more important. Youwill be working with a team of experienced analysts and former traders drawn from the investment banking, hedge fund and macro research industries. My client is growing their teams across the board, so they also offer good promotional prospects and the opportunityto work in a fast-paced environment.
