Job Description

eCommerce (SAP) ArchitectRole: eCommerce (SAP) ArchitectReporting into: eCommerce Manager & UK Tech DirectorSalary: £65-75k + 17.5% bonus + £7,250 car allowance (can be taken as cash) + benefitsLocation: Office in London, 3 days in office per weekBenefits: 17.5% bonus (rising to 20%), £7,250 car allowance (can be taken as cash), flexible hours (can start any time between 7am-10am), healthcare, life assurance, 25 days holiday + public holidays, up to 10% pension contribution, freeparking, subsidised canteen!Why join:

Growth is steady and secure, so this is a very stable business to work for.About the role:You will lead two Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) implementations, managing these projects end-to-end from induction to completion. This will involve designing both global and local application landscapes, workingclosely with stakeholders to achieve the business goals.The strategy itself is determined by the UK and Global eCommerce teams, which is then handed to you to create the design. You will not code, but need to understand how code / deployment works as youll be managing external vendors who code the solution.As such, youll need to know enough so that you can advise and push-back where necessary.This is an individual contributor role, without direct reports (for those who want to manage, we can look at various options for you for the long-term). There are no travel requirements for this position as they teams have built strong remote communicationchannels and want to reduce their burden on the environment.About you:You will have a background in software engineering and / or architecture; were open to any background though knowledge of Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, Spartacus, or DevOps is helpful. You will have expertise with CRMs and CMS and theirimplementations. This is a SaaS environment, so youll be comfortable working with SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly Hybris) or similar.A key part of this role is working across various teams (at all levels) to achieve technical solutions for business problems - so strong communication and coordination skills are critical.If you have knowledge of Digital Marketing thats helpful, howeverthis is a technical role so not essential.If you feel you have most of these skills, but not everything, then do get in touch!
