Job Description

Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)Location: Acton, LondonStart Date: SeptemberSalary: £85-£95 per dayPosition Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join one of our schools in Acton. This is a full-time position, starting in September. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supportingthe learning and development of our young students.Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for early years students.
  • Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Help plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and lessons.
  • Assist with the assessment and monitoring of students progress.
  • Provide individual and group support to students as directed by the class teacher.
  • Promote positive behavior and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of each child.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to student reports as required.
  • Attend relevant staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as an Early Years Teaching Assistant is desirable.
  • Possess a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or an equivalent qualification.
  • Hold a valid DBS certificate registered on the update service.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting childrens learning and development.
