Job Title: Executive Assistant - Japanese Speaking Location: Remote (UK Based) Rate: salary equivalent of £35k-£45k Contract Length: 18 months (PAYE) Start Date: ASAP Key Skills: Japanese, English, EA experience. The Role As an Executive Assistant, you will perform a variety of complex administrative functions for all levels of management including external business partners. Your other daily duties will include but will not be limited to: Review and authoriseinvoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and various documents. Evaluate and approve corporate records, documents, and reports. Assess incoming memos, submissions, and reports to gauge their significance and strategize their distribution. Prepareagendas and manage arrangements for committee, board, and other meetings. Oversee schedules, coordinate travel logistics, and handle business expense processing. Coordinate meetings, events, financial and personnel operations, and facility activities withindepartments. Supervise the procurement of goods and services, including computer equipment, office supplies, and vendor relationships. Offer general office support and act as the departmental/group liaison. Coordinate the creation of business reports and insights.Execute assigned special projects. Organize workflow to ensure timely completion and review of operational tasks (approvals, reporting, renewals). Monitor team productivity and impact by gathering and tracking business metrics. Ensure team skill developmentthrough the analysis and monitoring of learning plan completion. About You Proficiency in both English and Japanese is mandatory. Minimum of 5 years experience working with executives is required. Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Skilledin managing operations and scheduling across multiple time zones. Proven experience in creating business reports. Capable in executive-level communication. Demonstrated expertise in coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements. Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills, adept at multitasking, customer service, and interpersonal interactions. Strong ability to work autonomously and effectively manage time. Proficient in organizing and maintaining confidentiality of information. Exceptional eventplanning skills. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to offer support and constructive performance feedback. Prior experience with software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
