Job Description

A superb opportunity for an aspiring and experienced Drupal developer to take the lead on redeveloping and innovating the clients web estate.Client DetailsIn this newly created role, youll play a key role supporting the IT function in the development of layers of application and API, on top of our systems to integrate all of our digital channels. Some of the main projects youd be involved in include developing and integrating our website, e-commerce booking platform, a conversation rate optimisation platform (CRO) a prospect management platform (CRM) a customer mobile app, and a BI platform.In addition, youd have the main responsibility for bringing Drupal CMS evolution and PHP skills to implement critical configuration changes to web applications used to manage records and bookings.This is a newly created Full Stack Drupal Developer (Mid-Level) position, were a small team so this role represents a huge opportunity for someone to really see the difference their work makes to the business.DescriptionResponsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:

  • Work with the IT Development Manager in providing knowledge and development/implementation approach for the Digital Transformation programme
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Drupal modules
  • Be a proponent for security, performance and quality in methods, tools and approaches use in development of PHP application and integration layers of our business digital platforms
  • Interpret business requirements, business rule changes, processes and configuration changes
  • Play key role in the implementation of business system configuration changes and fixes
  • Deliver 2nd/3rd line technical support to business systems issues before escalation
  • Work with technology partners to optimize and enhance business systems integration
  • Continually seek innovative technologies to enhance business value, create efficiencies and market advantage.
    • Tech Stack Drupal 8+ PHP, HTML, MySQL, CSS, LESS, and Sass, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP/Twig templating, PHP web framework e.g. Symfony, Laravel.ProfileWere looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Drupal Developer,you must have demonstrable experience working with the listed tech stack gained within a professional setting, particular depth is needed working with Drupal 8+ and PHP. You will have worked to Agile methodology before and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities, often to deadlines.Youll be passionate about your work and will be up to date on the latest trends within the sector, wed encourage you to bring these new ideas to the table so we can fulfill our ambitions to always be the market leading. Youll be working in a small team, so you need to be a fantastic team player who is keen to support their fellow iQers with their projects.
