.NET Software Developer (Fully remote).NET Software Developer required by a leading MedTech business, who have drafted plans for this year and have quite a few projects in their pipeline.We are looking for someone to develop authentication and authorisation in a new .NET 8 MAUI Windows desktop app.There is currently have no user accounts in this desktop app, however, There is a legacy web application written in ASP.NET Web Forms with Forms authentication and the corresponding Membership database.Your assignment will be to integrate the two applications and implement Single Sign On (SSO) between them, at the same time, they want to consider integrating with an Identity Provider to provide authenticationThe main legacy app is built on top of Microsoft Excel with VBA.Most of the solutions are deployed in enterprise environments, meaning clients will need to host their own instances of the main apps within their own enclosed private networks.Once authentication is in place, you will be required to implement the latest methodology for authorisation and licensing. They currently use LMX License Manager in their legacy desktop software (Excel with VBA)We need an expert to advise whether licensing and authorisation should be implemented within the legacy ASP.NET web app, or perhaps in Microsoft Azure, or using any other 3rd party vendor license activation software.You must have previous experience on how to best tackle these projects, what technologies to use, review their architecture and propose improvements, evaluate risks and estimate efforts.NOIRUKNETRECNOIRUKREC
