Our Client, one of the UKs top search and digital agencies, seeks a highly skilled, bright and ambitious .Net developer to support their existing creative services and help to grow the skills of the development team.They are a search and digital agency working on disrupting marketing with big data. This Agency are part of a large group, who are on the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 list of fastest growing private technology companies and provide their clients SEO,PPC, Website Design, Social Media Management and Data Science. This role is within the Apollo Insights team which is growing to be the primary source of data for the entire group.Apollo Insights - the product.Apollo Insights gathers data from customer websites, 3rd party APIs (e.g. Google Ads) and search engines. It crunches the data using a range of processes from simple html parsing to analysis with machine learning algorithms. The aim is to provide the insightsand data feeds required by the other teams to make our customers websites easy to find and memorable to visit.Apollo Insights has a lot of moving parts: containerised data ingress applications, data processing applications ranging from SQL jobs through AWS Lambdas to containerised applications, a large RDS database, an ASP.NET MVC website (being rewritten with Vueon the frontend) and various APIs.The role- your next jobWe are looking for people who like to learn, code and care about end users. Their go to language is C#, their platform is AWS, their methodologies are agile. Their roadmap is flexible.
