Domestic Abuse : Regional Lead (DAHA) : London and South East of EnglandAbout Standing TogetherStanding Together Against Domestic Abuse is a national charity bringing communities together to end domestic abuse. Standing Together pioneered the CoordinatedCommunity Response (CCR) approach in the UK in 1996. The CCR is a multi-agency partnership model for keeping survivors safe and holding abusers to account. These agencies include the police, faith communities, criminal justice partners, housing, local authorities,social services, and health.About the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA)The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) was established in 2014 as a partnership between three agencies who are leaders in invocation in address domestic abuse within housing: StandingTogether, Peabody and Gentoo housing associations. The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliances (DAHA) mission is to improve the housing sectors response to domestic abuse through the introduction and adoption of an established set of standards and an accreditationprocess for local authorities and registered social housing providers. DAHA is a vital component of the wider Whole Housing Approach to domestic abuse. The WHA is model developed by the DAHA-led National Housing and Domestic Abuse Policy and Practice Group,for responding to the diverse needs of survivors in all housing settings and tenure types. About the roleThe purpose of this role is to promote and support DAHA accreditation amongst Local Authorities (LAs) and Registered Social Housing Providers (RSHP) inLondon and the Southeast of England. For LAs and RSHP seeking accreditation, the post holder will offer support and guidance. Through March 2022 this role will be funded through London Councils and therefore will specifically focus on promoting and supportingDAHA accreditation for London LAs and RSHP as per our Service Level Agreement. London Councils is committed to fighting for more resources for London and getting the best possible deal for Londons 33 councils. From April 2022, the role will expand to support LAs and RSHP across London and the Southeast to seek both accreditation and membership.
