Job Description

Job Overview As a Director, RRP Assurance you will be working with the head of RRP Governance, Controls and Engagement to drive key activities in ensuring RRP requirements are embedded, maintaining an effective control environment, and developing harmonised approach toRRP across the Group globally. On top of that you will be working with RRP team leadership to drive forward the RRP team strategy, incorporating feedback from the regulators, Risk, Internal Audit and other stakeholders across the firm globally. Re sponsibilities

  • Drive RRPs participation in Group-wide RCSA, engagement with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense, in line with regulatory expectations and regional / country governance requirements
  • Drive maintenance of RRP framework design authority and develop robust RRP procedures
  • Drive optimization/enhancement initiatives for RRP framework and processes
  • Lead the embedment of RRP requirements, focusing on their integration with the Groups Principal Risk types, associated frameworks, existing risk systems and processes.
  • Support the development of Group Policies and Standards for RRP, in line with the Groups Enterprise Risk Management Framework and regulatory expectations
  • Drive key activities in developing an RRP Centre of Excellence model for the Group, manage and develop Group to country interlinks and support regional RRP teams to ensure a harmonized approach to RRP across the Group and its jurisdictions
  • Drive engagement and awareness of RRP topics across the Group, including the delivery of training initiatives across the 1st and 2nd line of defense, and a wider communication strategy
  • Establish and sustain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the Risk, Controls and Audit functions, and influence thinking on RRP requirements to enable collaboration across RRP initiatives
  • Track regulatory landscape and any risks to the regulatory commitments.
  • Provide oversight of the RRP programme management capability
  • Provide proactive advocacy on new requirements and manage expectations of senior management and relevant stakeholders
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Practical working knowledge of Risk and Control frameworks, associated reporting and assessment methodologies, and experience in the development of policies and standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrable project management expertise with ability to deliver on cross-departmental projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solving skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality output under pressure
  • Strong sense of integrity with an ability to challenge where deemed necessary
