Job Description

Butler Rose are pleased to be supporting a global professional services organisation with the recruitment of a Director of Professional Development.As part of our clients ongoing commitment to development, they offer a variety of opportunities to people so that they can grow their technical and leadership skillsets.As the strategic lead in taking these products into a period of sustainable growth, you will build strong business relationships with CFOs, FDs, and Partners in accountancy firms with the aim of becoming their provider of choice for development and recruitmentneeds. You will be leading high performing commercial teams to deliver these solutions and collaborate across in-house departments to identify opportunities to influence and bring the organisations breadth of services to the fore.Some of your duties will include:

  • Lead all business development activity ensuring that clients critical recruitment and training needs are met, developing new products and content as required.
  • Build strong partnerships with senior finance leaders, HR professionals and technical experts using the expertise and knowledge gained to inform strategy and drive growth.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure offerings are aligned and revenues maximised by delivering the full spectrum of the organisations products and services to members and clients
Person Spec
  • Proven experience of successfully developing and implementing strategy and the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team to deliver the highest standards.
  • Proven experience of building successful partnerships/relationships at all levels; both internally and externally.
  • Ability to think commercially and find new opportunities for extending the reach of a business
