Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Product to join our Banking and Payment Partners team. Reporting directly to the Chief Banking Officer, you have experience in product management at a Fintech or potentially a bank with a strong knowledge of alternative payment methods, along with an appreciation of payment regulations, risk and compliance. Exposure to card acquiring or payment gateways would also be beneficial for this role.This role can be based in either London or Dublin.Responsible for:

  • Delivery of bank and alternative payment method integrations into the group payments hub as well as the business units
  • Delivery of a new centralised payments, FX hub and payments orchestration platform/switch, including payment routing and reconciliations capabilities
  • Assisting with driving the Group’s banking and payments strategic plan, providing strategic input into the direction of travel
  • Managing and coordinating over a dozen tech development teams and engineers located in the US, Bulgaria and India to ensure delivery, monitoring product delivery plans to achieve strategic and tactical goals
  • Working closely with the dedicated programme and project management teams, as well as other business unit and central product managers, including the Head of Product - Payment Network
  • Monitor OPEX and CAPEX spend against budgets
  • Undertake assessments of key markets/countries and local payment methods
  • Develop a strategic view of the optimal mix of payment methods needed for Paysafe to be successful in specific market vertical and geographies.
  • Assist in the identification of partners, banks, PSPs, and associations whom we can leverage to drive high transaction success rates at the best possible price point in consultation with the banking and payment partner relationship managers and stakeholders.
  • Manage the full suite of payment methods and the respective payment platforms
  • Support the team in making the right decisions on direct integrations vs integrations through aggregators based on group needs and growth trajectories
  • Prepare external and internal presentations
  • Analyse key changes to payments regulations and legislation which could impact our payments infrastructure or strategy (e.g. PSD2)
  • Maintain overview of payment performance
  • Driving SWIFT connectivity and capabilities with banks
