Job Description

An opportunity to work for a one of the UKs most historic and iconic brands, a multisite fabrication company, operating in the maritime and offshore industry.Following a number of resent acquisitions there is now an aggressive grown plan in place which has led to the requirement of an experience Compensations and Benefits professional to work alongside the CRO and CFO to provide commercially focused and informativeC&B service across the company. The company has grown rapidly, from a small start-up, 2 years ago to currently a workforce of approximately 800 people, with an estimated split of 65% blue and 35% white collar. With aggressive plans to reach 3500 within the next 3 - 4 years.With a workforce the length and breadth of the UK, the companies vision is to create a legacy within local communities, which local communities can be proud to be a part of.The Job Purpose: -This role will identify and maximise opportunities for improved consistency and standardisation of terms and conditions across the company.Working closely the CPO and CFO this role will develop commercially focused and market competitive UK Compensation and Benefits Strategies that support fairness and equality that drive Performance in the business.This role will develop the framework for Compensation, Benefits, Terms and Conditions that will support the Operational HR Community and the provision of a customer centric, informed and efficient HR service.Ensure that the company has a competitive offering in the market, as well as managing the day-to-day operations.Responsibilities: -* Develop, manage and implement the annual pay review process accurately and effectively within budget. * Implement inaugural job evaluation, salary bands, grading structures and salary levelling initiative to include defining job competencies and job titles. * Develop, benchmark and implement a flex benefit option strategy to create employee engagement.* Manage relationship with external benefit providers to ensure best provisions remain* Drive the reward strategy setting clear goals and objectives. Development of the compensation and benefits framework which will support the business strategy.* Be the overseer of equal pay audits and gender and ethnic pay reporting. * Prepare and deliver people analytics * Work with the finance team to manage and administer the employee benefits option scheme.* Monitor compensation trends and ensure accurate and relevant benchmarks for our different locations.* Oversee the payroll team for accurate and efficient payroll management.Experience: -* Youll be hands-on with an extensive knowledge of local compensation and benefits programs, practices and related applicable laws* Experience of co-ordinating substantial compensation and benefits projects and proposals with contributions from a diverse range of business partners* Significant experience of bonus reviews, benchmarking, systems, recognition tools, performance management and benefits policies and administration* Ability to balance compensation best practice with commercial reality* Previous experience of implementing a role-levelling initiative across an established organisation while embedding and managing this change (can clearly articulate what worked and what you learnt) * Experience of payroll management* Youll be programmatic, approachable and hands-onIdeally you will have experience of working within a large blue and white collar multi-sited company.
