Who were looking for Were looking for an experienced negotiation consultant to join PwCs Negotiations business as a Director About the teamOur Negotiations business supports the firms largest clients in preparing for and executing complex negotiations. With an average deal size of £1bn, we work directly with senior decision makers throughout the world.We typically get involved in:Advising clients entering into, re-negotiating or exiting large commercial contracts/alliancesAssisting clients negotiate settlements in advance of disputes/litigationSupporting clients during negotiations with regulators & governmentsExample engagements include:Supporting a global oil & gas businesses in defending a £1bn claim in the USAssisting a UK financial services business in negotiating a £2bn outsourcing contractAdvising an international electronics business in obtaining c.$2bn in compensation from a key customer About the roleAs a Director you would be involved in:Leading & managing the teamCoaching, development and recruitment of the teamLeading the client engagement on live mandates as well as managing the team on the groundProviding strategic negotiation advice to clients as well as leading negotiations in the room and coaching the team to do the sameGrowing the teams presence through engagement with other Directors throughout the firm and supporting the Business Development process by identifying opportunities (internally and externally)Leading & managing client pitchesEssential skills and experience We would expect applicants to demonstrate the following attributes:Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and proactive mindsetExperience planning and leading commercial negotiationsExperience advising clients on negotiation strategyExperience in leading, managing and developing teamsAbility to bring structure and process to unstructured situationsAbility to manage multiple projects at the same timeAbility to identify commercial opportunities for PwC and to communicate the value of negotiation services to potential clientsDeals Our Deals business is an exciting, fast-paced and an ever-growing business that focuses on deals and crisis situations for our clients.
